I love to do two things in Second Life.  I enjoy exploring and I love to go to clubs.  Luckily for us, we have a new place to visit on The Grid that skillfully combines a sort of post-apocalyptic feel with elements of fantasy.  Some areas are still in the creative-development phase, but drop in anytime to catch a DJ set at The Link, or wander round and immerse yourself the land's broken and haunting atmosphere.  Pattern Recognition offers something for everyone with games and amusements, affordable rental units, as well as it's great new club--The Link--with another club in development, that will be opening it's 'virtual' doors soon.

Chernobyl Area
When I spoke to the owner, Cygnostic Flux, he explained, "I just want to give people good deals on not-for-profit rent, build a cool community, and get some clubby hangout music lover stuff going on."

As I explored the sim, I uncovered some amazing and unique photo opportunities tucked within it's custom builds and attention to the small details.  The propellers spin, the severed wires buzz with static, and the geometric flowers, tended by gigantic bees, diffuse an alien orange light.  It's a great beginning to what's sure to become an amazing and dynamic space for people to come together.  New elements are being added so be sure to check back often to see how it all comes together.

Pattern Recognition has so much to offer,  with a second new club opening and other custom elements being added or re-arranged, I'll be sure to do a follow-up blog post in future.  In the meantime, feel free to drop in, take some pictures, catch a DJ set and explore.  There's a group joiner at The Link's landing spot, and be sure to check The Link's Online Schedule for club opening times.  There's friendly and professional staff on hand and a Contact Us Form if you have any further questions.  Hope to see you there!

An old gown gets new life

I admit in the early days of Second Life, I didn't always have much money to spend.  Often, I'd resort to window shopping and having to save up for the things I really did love until I could afford them.  One place I frequently window shopped was Lybra.  These days, their focus has shifted from gowns to more trend-setting creations.  This gown was a purchase from a few years ago and no longer available.  But, I'm so looking forward to loading up on new demos and showing off some of their latest trendy styles in some of my upcoming future blogs.  Stay tuned!

Bella Oxmyx and Lucky 7

Hello everyone!  I've recently updated the template for my blog and unfortunately, my old posts were formatted differently and didn't easily fit into the new layout.  So, to get things rolling again, I've decided to go back into my Flickr pics to choose some of my favorite outfits to showcase while I catch up.  It's still under construction and the Instagram and other links are either someone else's or holding places until I can develop my own stuff.  Thanks for your patience and thanks for visiting while I develop my own links!
