The BellΔ Project

I always liked the old Mesh Project Classic body, so I was happy to learn they had launched two new bodies recently.  They have an update to their old Classic TMP body in the main shop and last time I looked, it was discounted for anyone who had the older version, but the new sensation on the block is their new Legacy Mesh Body.

It's definitely turning heads out on the grid and the Moderators in the Official TMP group say that there are quite a few developers who are primed to start making wares for it so it's going to be an exciting time!

Before I entered this newest contest, I took a look at some of the amazing entries already submitted.  Lots of energy, light, movement in so many good pictures.  Others had bursts of color and told more quiet stories.  I wanted to get a sense of Japan and what it meant to everyone.  I almost included swords in this pic--I could invest in some nice ones or tour Neo-Japan to see what else they offered, but decided that many people are doing jumps or poses with swords and there has to be something else beyond that.  I just love the things I did buy from there and decided against going too matchy matchy with the elements I already had (color-wise).  And most importantly, I decided not to hold swords but try to achieve something more ambiguous and something with some symmetry and leave it alone.

I might not get views, I might not win any awards, but I'm usually happy with my efforts, I appreciate the hard work and artistry that goes into the mesh creations and the work of the photographers and bloggers, and that's a happy place to stay.

My last kick at the can for the Swallow Ears Contest.  This pic was a bit of a scramble as my first idea for this last shot had already been done and done very well by someone else.  So, back to the drawing board and I'm happy with the result now that I've put my own spin on things.

Did somebody say contest?   Swallow is having a photography contest and I'm entering a couple of photos into the mix.  This is my take on a Manic Pixie Dreamgirl but fell a little short when I failed to add enough sprinkles, sparkles, and bokeh.  I thought having a jackalope would be enough.
